Perhaps I'm wrong but couldn't the whole program reside on the server and everyone runs it from there using a shortcut to the same installation? Or what about using the standalone version and having each installation point to the same database?

I cane here to request just this smile  Good to see others are anticipating it as well and that it's being done. smile

I forgot to add -- I'm using the standalone version so that I can have multiple coppies of this software throughout my system. This is the only thing preventing me from being able to use it right now.

OS: Windows Vista x64
Problem: When I use the "Move files before tagging" feature, I get the Microsoft .NET Framework window with an unhandled exception. Details follow.

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.

I registered just to reply to this topic smile

First off -- thanks for writing this software! With Windows XP/Vista not having the ability to edit tags on all file types (only those that store it in the file), I was having trouble finding a good solution. I even tried Windows 7 because I was told "libraries" would be a good solution but they are essentially tags for folders only and that is fairly useless for me unless I want to put each video in it's own folder.

Anyways, to the point...

This feature would be HUGE! Not only for removable drives but, currently when I launch the app I have tons and tons of unrelated tags... it could be anything from client documents for work or personal documents or videos -- it would be nice to only see my work-related tags or my personal tags, perhaps even divided up further. Separate databases would be the best way to solve this since it takes care of the removable drive issue as well but for my need, a tag-relationship would work... if you could be allowed to assign a tag as only a sub-set of another tag so that you don't see it until you've applied it's parent tag filter.
