Using your application I have tagged rather a lot of my music. However, when selecting tracks using the tags, I am presented with a full list of all the individual related files. In my case a set of tags could present me with a list of many albums worth of tracks and this is not an ideal way for me to select music I want to listen to.
Would it be possible to have an option to view the tagged results by the folders they are in. For example, lets say I have 20 tracks tagged as "rock". Currently this would give a list like so...
track1
track2
track3
...
...
track20
That is a long list and may include artists/albums I dont want to listen to. As a full list of individual files it would be difficult to spot the albums/artists I want to listen to.
With a "View by Folder" option, the files could be listed like so...
folder1
folder2
folder3
This list is much shorter and I can see which album/artist it is just from the folder names [rather than searching through the individual track names which rarely include the artist/album name].
I think this would be a great feature and would prevent excessive use of tags [would be silly to tag every single file with album/artist info along with its genres/type]
