Topic: Notes and 'Not Tag'

Elegant little software, TaggedFrog. So simple I don't want to burden it, but there is a feature that I think implementing might also be simple, but very powerful. Can I specify a Tag to not be included in the returns?

I create many files in my profession when working on large projects. Frequently these files are newer versions of the old. I would like to tag files as superceded, or as an older version, or a draft. I could easily ignore these files by being able to specify what tags I don't want?

Simply notes for a file would be very good to have. Even better would be the ability to edit them and tags in some tabular form. Not everyone's cup of tea, but it is sometimes so much faster to build and edit heirachies and dependencies in tabular form, even if old fashioned.

Wish you much success.

Re: Notes and 'Not Tag'

I second the need for notes implementation.  This is actually the only thing I wanted from Tagged frog because you can't edit the description/comments in Windows explorer.  If you could, you wouldn't need tags. Windows would index your descriptions and you could search for it in explorer or the start menu. sad

Re: Notes and 'Not Tag'

Hi,

I'd like to support and enhance te question about a 'not-tag' or 'negative-tag' when filtering your documents.
That would really help me a lot and make this software even more usefull!

Tanx in advance!
Erik
