Topic: Opening files

Hello,
I found this very nice software when searching for a program that would do the following:

  • Let me put multiple files into a list. The files can live anywhere on my computer. As a bonus I could name the list of files.

  • Let me open all the files in the list at once, or any particular ones I choose. As a bonus I could select a subset of the files to open at once.

TaggedFrog lets me do all that, except opening files is a pain. The only way to open files is to double-click on each one separately.

My request for TaggedFrog is to add two buttons "Open All" and "Open Selected", and/or to have the right-click option "Open" on the files themselves (currently if you select a bunch of files and right click on them, only one will be selected).

Re: Opening files

Don’t you think it is dangerous? If you have hundreds files in your list and will try to open them at once, it could hang your system.

Re: Opening files

Maybe, but in my case I would never have hundreds of files in a list, and my use of this program is to find and open files. I would be willing to take the risk.

Perhaps the program could warn the user if they try to open more than ten files at once, or the program could have a sentence near the buttons I suggested like: "Opening too many files at once can hang your system. Please be careful."

I don't need the buttons so much as I need to at least be able to highlight the files I want and open them through the right-click context menu.
