I would suggest Andrei or the end user to develop some AutoHotkey scripts to do this. It will be easier and more flexible. The AutoHotkey scripts can use COM or WM_CopyDATA, or any other IPC means to cooperate.
Further, the metadata can be also first saved in the file and later parsed by TaggedFrog.

Integration with Office applications and web browsers is a useful feature and I am actively researching in this direction too. I definitely want to add it, but I have more ideas than time :)

You can try Auto Tagging. There are two strategies to use this feature:
- If all your new files have one root folder, you can configure an Auto Tagging rule for this folder to mark all the new documents with tag “Unsorted” for example. All the documents will be available for you in TaggedFrog marked with this keyword, where you can sort them.

- Or you can configure several rules for the individual folders.
The only warning - try to be as more specific as you can and setup the rules for the necessary folders only. Otherwise, you can significantly decrease program speed.

Nice application and pretty much what I was looking for, but...I'd like the ability to tag the software from within excel, powerpoint or word. I create a lot of these type files during the day and I don't want to have to navigate to the file and tag it outside the application as it's too disruptive to my workflow. Is there a way of doing this and I don't know how, or is this an enhancement that you are considering? Thanks again. Gary
